My personal back-to-school essentials

Sunday, August 19, 2012

It's official: School starts again in t-minus 2 and a half weeks, which means it's time to start buying overpriced textbooks and collecting class essentials.

I'll be easing my way back into my busy school routine with the help of some of my favorite companies: Emily Ley, Lilly Pulitzer, Jonathan Adler, and Boatman Geller! You can guarantee these items will be in my tote this semester.

I'm very picky when it comes to my school supplies and I will stop at nothing to find exactly what I'm looking for. Luckily for me, I was able to find everything I wanted and needed for the upcoming semester. This persnickety student happily satisfied!

I'm not one for a simple spiral bound notebook. I LOVE this monogrammed notebook by Emily Ley. It has a sturdy front cover and enough lined paper to get you through the semester. Emily was nice enough to send me one of her fabulous notebooks and I can't wait to get my hands on more. I want one for each of my classes!

I can't wait to get my hands on this Boatman Geller monogrammed iPhone case. I ordered mine from Pea Pod Paper & Gifts (10% off with the code CHICAGO at checkout) and is on it's way to my apartment. Just because summer is over doesn't mean I have to give up my nautical favorites!

You can't go back to school without a Lilly Pulitzer planner. I was in desperate need of this jumbo agenda - with recruitment, leadership positions on campus, and two jobs, I need the extra space! I also love this Lilly pencil pouch. Not only will it keep all my writing utensils cozy, it will look fabulous in class and in the library (can't go wrong with pink and green)!

I like to find school supplies that stand out from everyone else's in my class. I do this by finding items with unique patterns, colors, and textures. That's why I'm supplying myself with this Jonathan Adler laptop sleeve and set of pencils. Be bold when you go back to school!

Which of my favorite school essentials are you most likely to use?
