Sprint to spring break!

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

Sorry for the lack for blog posts this past week. Finals have been kicking my butt! On top of work and all my sorority executive board duties, I've been working on four group projects, three papers, and three presentations. Needless to say I am burnt out and ready for spring break. Six more days!

And speaking of spring break, I'll be heading home to Michigan for a good week and a half. It's not a tropical vacation, but it sounds like paradise to me. I can't wait to relax with my family, catch up with old friends, and read several books that I've been dying to read!

I'll be taking the train home next week. The train can be pretty slow, so I always make an effort to back a good travel bag. Here's what I'm planning on taking with me during my trip:

Trader Joe's dark chocolate mints
Chubby Stick from Clinique in "Mighty Mimosa"

All packed up nicely in my Vera Bradley Miller tote in Priscilla Pink

What are your spring break plans?

Good luck to everyone who is in the midst of finals or midterms!

  3. Definitely a great list! I'm in Gatlinburg with friends at the moment, but I'm looking forward to relaxing the rest of the week!

  4. I use my chubby stick every day! LOVE it! I am going to the beach for spring break. My lips always tend to get chapped from the sun, so I recently purchased a lip stick by Sugar that has color, sunscreen, and moisturizer all in one! I think it will be perfect for the beach :)

  5. I'm feeling the midterms burn too! it's crazy out here. And you reminded me--definitely have some last minute sorority officer planning to do before I hit the airport. I'll be flying out for a week in San Diego with my boyfriend...literal dream come true. I'm from up north too (Wisconsin, in fact!) and I hope you have an amazing time back home!
