Too Blessed To Be Stressed!

Ever wake up in the morning thinking about all the things you have to do, bills you have to do, and projects you need to complete? Your to-do list is so long and you should feel beyond stressed out. For some reason I woke up this morning without a care in the world even though I have a lot of stressful things on my plate. Today I'm thinking about all the things that make life worth living instead of the things that stress me out. 

If I'm freaking out about a bill that needs to be paid, I take a breath and take a walk and appreciate my beautiful Chicago neighborhood. What's the point in living in the city if I can't enjoy it! If I'm bogged down with homework assignments or job applications, I step back and do a little yoga in my living room. Nothing like a little deep breathing and stretching to recharge your batteries and reassure you that everything will be okay. We often get too caught up in the technical things that we forget to just sit back and enjoy life! Remember: blessed is better than stressed!

  2. I think you're right, I just have a hard time focusing on my blessings sometimes because I worry about other people more than I think about myself, if that makes any sense.
