It's that time of the quarter again...midterms. The longest week of the school year (next to finals) and the peak of even the best student's procrastination. Whether you're a library rat, a night owl, or an early bird, there are three "C's" that everyone can use to keep them relaxed, focused, and stress-free during exam week.
COFFEE
My life motto is: "No coffee, no study." I am constantly making pots of coffee during midterm week to keep me alert and awake. Treat yourself to a special flavored coffee during exam week! I love to try new flavors from the boutique coffee shop down the street from my apartment.
CANDLES
Unlink most people, I can't study anywhere else than at home. I usually set up shop at my dining room table and layout all my study guides and books. I usually have one or two candles burning to fill my apartment with a relaxing scent. Vanilla candles are my favorite for studying!
CANDY
In my opinion, there is no dieting during exam week. I always need something sweet to snack on while I'm filling out study guides; I don't want to constantly think about how hungry I am while I'm trying to study. Jellybeans and Swedish Fish are my go-to sweets!
Happy exam week, everyone!
I study the exact same way... at the dining room table with candy and candles! No better way :) Good luck with midterms!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with this completely!
ReplyDeleteI've never thought about studying with candles, but it's definitely something I'll have to try!

This is going to be very helpful for my finals coming up in two weeks.
ReplyDeleteI eat the worst during finals week!
ReplyDeleteI concur with all 3 - I tell myself my brain needs the constant sugar supply to keep working :)
